Distortion 2026 Nice-Weather Probability

It is hard to believe another Distortion has already come and gone, and looking back, we really lucked out with some lovely Copenhagen energy. Wednesday was easily the standout day of the week, offering perfect t-shirt weather that felt like a warm hug at 18°C, which was noticeably milder than our usual June averages. As the week rolled on, the air turned a bit crisper; Thursday was the trickiest day to dress for because the breeze made the 18°C thermometer reading feel more like a chilly 15°C, requiring most of us to keep our denim jackets on while dancing. We definitely saw more clouds than usual compared to a typical Danish June, and Sunday ended up being the wettest stretch with a proper short downpour that left the streets a bit slick, though nothing that a pair of sturdy boots couldn't handle. Even though the highs hovered around 19°C, the nights stayed quite mild at 15°C, which made for much better sleeping conditions in the tents than the shivering cold we often expect. If you remembered to pack a light raincoat and a layer for that Thursday wind, you were probably living your best life in the crowd. Overall, it was a slightly wetter but wonderfully warm week that felt exactly like the start of summer should.
