Tinderbox 2026 Nice-Weather Probability

We really lucked out with the weather for Tinderbox this year, as it was significantly hotter and drier than the typical Danish summer. Thursday and Friday were absolute dreams with clear skies and temperatures reaching 26°C and 29°C, making it classic t-shirt and sunglasses weather all day long. Saturday was the real outlier, though, as the heat peaked at a sweltering 33°C. Because of the humidity, it actually felt like 37°C on the ground, which made the air feel heavy and much more oppressive than the thermometer suggested. We did see a tiny bit of rain that evening, but it was just a passing shower that barely settled the dust rather than a proper downpour. Compared to the usual averages of around 21°C, this was a scorching weekend that demanded serious sunblock and constant trips to the water stations to stay hydrated. I hope you packed a light sweater for the tents since the temperature did drop a bit at night, but overall, it was a glorious, mud-free weekend in Odense where the vibe was all about staying cool in the shade between sets.
