Sziget Festival 2026 Nice-Weather Probability

I hope you are all recovering well after an absolutely legendary week at Sziget Festival. We really lucked out with the weather this year, as it was significantly warmer and much drier than the usual Budapest August. We kicked things off with a real scorcher on Tuesday; the thermometer hit 35°C, though a light breeze actually made it feel more like 33°C, giving us a tiny bit of relief during the peak afternoon heat. From Wednesday through Friday, we settled into a perfect stretch of t-shirt weather with clear skies and zero rain, making for a bone-dry campsite without a single drop of mud in sight. Saturday felt quite a bit hotter than the official 33°C would suggest because the sun was so intense, so I hope you were all lathering on the sunscreen and drinking plenty of water. The nights were generally mild, but Thursday and Friday dipped down to 17°C, which felt a few degrees cooler due to the humidity, meaning a light hoodie was definitely a lifesaver for those late-night sets. Overall, it was a dream run of sunshine that stayed well above the typical 28°C averages, so hopefully your tents stayed dry and your spirits stayed high.
