Sónar 2026 Nice-Weather Probability

Now that the dust has settled on Sónar 2026, it is safe to say we were treated to an absolute scorcher of a weekend in Barcelona. Every single day was notably hotter than the typical June averages, with the mercury climbing well above the usual 25°C mark and not a single drop of rain in sight. Thursday set a perfect tone for the weekend, though with the humidity it actually felt like 30°C on the ground, making those breezy linen shirts a lifesaver. Friday stayed just as toasty, but Saturday was the real outlier as the hottest day of the lot. While the thermometer read 31°C, the intense sun and humidity made it feel like a heavy 33°C, so hopefully you were religious with the sunscreen and kept a water bottle glued to your hand. Even the nights stayed unusually warm and sticky, never dropping below 20°C, meaning there was absolutely no need for that extra jacket in your locker. It was pure t-shirt and sunglasses weather from start to finish, and the lack of those typical afternoon showers meant the dancefloors stayed bone-dry and glorious all weekend long.
