Flow Festival 2026 Nice-Weather Probability

It is hard to believe Flow Festival is already behind us, but we really lucked out with some classic Helsinki summer vibes this year. Looking back at the weekend, the weather was slightly cooler and much drier than what we usually expect for early August, making for a crisp and comfortable experience at Suvilahti. Friday was undoubtedly the standout day where it felt like true summer, even with a passing afternoon shower that barely dampened the mood. Saturday was the trickiest day to dress for because the wind really picked up, making that 20°C high feel more like 17°C during the day and a chilly 10°C once the sun went down. If you stayed for the late sets on Saturday night, you definitely needed that heavy vintage jacket or a thick hoodie to keep the shivers away. Sunday stayed dry and settled, though it lacked that intense heat, keeping the crowd energetic rather than exhausted. Since we escaped any proper soakings, sneakers were safe and the dust was kept down by those tiny sprinkles of rain. I hope you packed those extra layers for the walk back to the metro, as those cool evening breezes were the only thing that felt a bit sharper than the usual climate averages.
