Download Festival 2026 Nice-Weather Probability

Looking back at our time at Download Festival, we really lucked out with a much drier weekend than the usual June averages for Donington Park. Friday was the absolute standout, feeling like a proper summer day at 21°C with just a tiny passing spit of rain that barely dampened the grass. It was classic t-shirt and sunscreen weather, though Saturday threw us a bit of a curveball. Even though the thermometer said 17°C, the wind made it feel closer to a brisk 12°C, so those of us who kept our hoodies on definitely had the right idea. By Sunday, the sun returned to make it feel much warmer than the day before, and we managed to avoid the rain entirely, which is a rare treat for this site. Even with the lovely daytime highs, the nights dipped down toward 10°C, making those thick sleeping bags essential for a good night's rest. I hope you packed your sturdy boots for the trek between stages and kept a warm layer handy for the evening sets, as that Saturday chill was the only real bite in an otherwise beautiful weekend.
